Terms of service

These terms apply to shop owners and team members who use Booknatin, and to customers who book through a shop's Booknatin page. By signing in or making a booking, you agree to them. How we handle information is explained in our privacy policy.

What Booknatin is

Booknatin is an online booking page for shops such as barber shops, salons, spas and clinics. Bookings are saved to the shop owner's own Google Calendar and Google Sheet. Booknatin is a tool. The shop, not Booknatin, provides the service that a customer books.

Shop accounts

• A shop owner signs in with a Google account they control and must be at least 18 years old and allowed to act for the business.
• The owner is responsible for the shop's account, for the team members they add, and for keeping their Google account secure.
• The owner is responsible for everything on their booking page: shop name, photos, services, prices, hours, payment details and any text they add. Only add photos and content you have the right to use.
• Shops must follow the law, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act, when they use their customers' details. Customer details belong to the shop and are kept in the shop owner's Google account.

Free trial, plans and payment

• New shops get a free trial (currently 14 days) with all Pro features. No payment is needed to start.
• After the trial, a shop chooses a plan (Basic, Pro or Max) and pays for 1 month, 1 year or 2 years. Current prices are shown on the Booknatin homepage and in the shop dashboard.
• Payment is made by the methods shown in the dashboard (for example GCash, Maya or bank transfer). A plan is turned on after the payment is checked, usually within the day.
• If a paid period ends without renewal, the booking page stays on for 3 more days, then pauses. Shop settings are kept, and paying again turns the page back on.
• Prices may change. A change does not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will show new prices before you renew.

No refunds

Because every shop can try Booknatin free first, payments are not refunded, including for unused time on yearly or 2-year plans. If you stop using Booknatin, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If we cannot provide the service because of a problem on our side that we cannot fix, we will contact you to make it right.

Customers who book

• When you book, you are making an appointment with the shop, not with Booknatin. Prices, deposits, payments, cancellations, late arrivals and the service itself are between you and the shop.
• Please give correct contact details and only make bookings you intend to keep. Use your manage-booking link to cancel or change a booking.
• Payments to a shop (for example a QR payment for a deposit) go directly to the shop. Booknatin does not receive or hold customers' money and cannot issue refunds for a shop.

Fair use

Do not misuse Booknatin. This includes making fake or spam bookings, trying to access another shop's account or data, interfering with the service or its security checks, or using it for anything illegal or harmful. We may pause or close an account that does this.

Availability

We work to keep Booknatin running and secure, but it depends on internet services such as Google and Cloudflare and may sometimes be slow or unavailable. Booknatin is provided "as is". Shops should check their Google Calendar for their bookings and keep their own way to contact customers.

Limit of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Booknatin is not responsible for lost income, missed or double appointments, disputes between shops and customers, or problems caused by Google, payment apps or other services. Our total responsibility to a shop for any claim is limited to the amount that shop paid Booknatin in the 3 months before the claim.

Closing an account

• A shop owner can stop using Booknatin at any time and can remove Booknatin's access in their Google account. To delete the shop from Booknatin, email booknatin@gmail.com. We delete it within 30 days.
• We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we decide to stop offering Booknatin, we will tell shop owners at least 30 days before.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell shop owners about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
